Career Performance List 2011-12 (Freshman Season):
- Ran a season-best time of 9.18 in the 60m hurdles to place 10th at the Navy Six-Team Meet
- Clocked a 16.65 to place ninth in the 110m hurdles at the Maryland Invite
- Ran a 59.08 in the 400m hurdles at the Navy Five-Team Meet High School/Personal:
- A 2011 graduate of Johnston High School, where he earned four letters in track and field and two in football
- Served as the team captain of track and field as a senior
- Earned All-State honors in the hurdles in 2010-11
- Owns his school's 110m hurdle school record and was a member of the school-record setting shuttle hurdle relay squad
- Son of Craig and Rhonda Bergstrom
- Cousin, Jeff Bergstrom, played basketball at Iowa State
- Majoring in quantitative economics
- Has been named to the Commandant's List twice
