2023-24 (Freshman Season): INDOOR: Competed in the long jump (5.83m / 19’ 1.5”) and the 60m (8.00) at the Navy Indoor Invitational … OUTDOOR: Recorded a javelin mark of 57.72m (189’ 4”) to place fourth at the Army-Navy Star Meet … Competed in the javelin throw with a distance of 53.01m (173’ 11”) at the ICAC / ECAC Championships.

High School: A 2023 graduate of Presque Isle High School in Presque Isle, Maine … Earned four varsity letters in basketball, soccer and track and field … Garnered first-team all-conference and all-county honors in track and field sophomore, junior and senior years … Was the state (Maine) runner-up in the javelin in 2022 and 2023 … Broke javelin school record during senior campaign … Won county championships in the discus (2023), high jump (2021), javelin (2021, ‘22, ‘23), shot put (2023), 110m hurdles (2022, ‘23) and 300m hurdles (2022) … Claimed two conference titles in the javelin (2021, ‘23) … Placed second in the conference championship in the 110m hurdles senior season … Earned first-team all-conference accolades in soccer junior and senior years … Was a Main Coaches All-Region All-Star and team captain in soccer during senior campaign … Named third-team all-conference during freshman basketball season … Followed up with by earning a spot on the all-county team his sophomore year … Garnered first-team all-conference, all-defensive team and all-county honors junior season … Concluded basketball career with another first-team all-conference nod while serving as the team captain … Finished high school career with 1,331 points … Was also tabbed a conference senior all-star, Maine McDonald’s All-Star, All-Maine Schoolboy Basketball Team honorable mention and an all-county player … Also claimed a spot on the Bangor Daily News All-Tourney Team … Member of National Honor Society, Varsity Club and Outdoor Club … Was a conference and county scholar-athlete … Recipient of the Emery Plourde Track Champion, Butch Shaw, Presque Isle High School Male Athlete of the Year and Franklin S. Personal: Son of Terrance and Crystal Cummings … Father, Terrance, is the all-time leading scorer of the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s basketball team and is now a teacher and coach.
