SENIOR – 2014: Saw action in a career-high 23 games and recorded a career-high 10 goals, in addition to five assists for 15 total points … registered multi-points in two occasions: three (2g, 1a) versus Washington & Jefferson in the Navy Open and two (1g, 1a) against Mercyhurst … named to the ACWPC All-Academic Excellent squad for the fourth straight year with a 3.4 GPA.

JUNIOR - 2013: Newby saw time in 15 games and recorded 13 points on five goals and eight assists ... also added seven steals over the season ... notched points in over three quarters of his appearances, including a season-high three (2g, 1a) versus No. 16 Santa Clara ... had multiple points in four contests with the last time coming against MIT in the CWPA Championship Tournament ... named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Excellent squad with a 3.32 GPA.

SOPHOMORE - 2012: Newby played in just 11 games, but tallied 15 points (7 g, 8 a) ... netted three goals in the season opener, a 25-5 win over Gannon ... scored a career-high five points (2 g, 3 a) in a win over Fordham at the Navy Invitational ... dished out two assists against Washington & Jefferson ... named to the 2012 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Superior Squad.

FRESHMAN - 2011: Newby appeared in 12 contests, scoring seven points (4 g, 3 a) ... scored his first career goal against Washington & Jefferson ... added goals against Connecticut College, Johns Hopkins and Notre Dame (Ohio) ... dished out two assists in his first career game, coming against Gannon in the Navy Open ... also had an assist against Vanguard ... named to the 2011 CWPA All-Academic Excellent Team (3.35 GPA).

PERSONAL: Newby graduated from Loyola High School in 2011, lettering in water polo and swimming twice ... led water polo team to a California State High School Championship ... was an outstanding Athletic All-American and a National Merit Scholar Honorable Mention selection ... son of Jon and Marcie Newby ... majoring in information technology.
