Biography

Hauschild grew up racing and instructing on 420s and Lasers on the Delaware Bay out of the Lewes Yacht Club before coming to Navy. While on VOST she has served as helm aboard the J/105 Allegiance, and Navy 44 Defiance. She has competed in many events including the Storm Trysail Foundation’s 2018 Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta, Annapolis to Newport and Marion to Bermuda races.
