Biography

Leam learned to sail with his grandfather in Scotland; however, he had never participated in any sail racing. He learned the basics of racing as a main trimmer on a Colgate 26 and participated in the Annapolis to Newport and Marion to Bermuda races on a Navy 44 over the summer. In his second year on the team he is learning the basics of racing tactics as a skipper of a Colgate 26 on JVOST. Majoring in mechanical engineering.
