    Women's Basketball Assistant Coach (Second Season)
The 2015-16 season will be the third for Jody Burrows as a member of the Navy coaching staff.

Her inaugural season on The Yard saw the Mids set a school record for wins in a single campaign with an overall mark of 24-8, earn the first outright Patriot League regular season crown in school history and receive a berth in the WNIT. Last season, Navy posted a 17-14 record, tied for fourth in the Patriot League standings with a 10-8 record and advanced to the semifinal round of the league tournament.

Burrows spent the 2012-13 season as an assistant coach at Case Western Reserve University. The Spartans tallied the most wins for the program in 11 years with their 16-9 record last season. Four members of the squad earned all-league honors, with Evy Iacono also garnering the University Athletic Association's Player-of-the-Year laurel as well as honorable mention All-America accolades from D3Hoops.com.

A standout student-athlete in her own right, the native of Corry, Pa., served as the team captain in each of her final three seasons at Northeastern. Burrows ended her career ranked third in school history for career assists and second for career assist average, was involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was named one of Northeastern's Top-100 Most Influential Seniors in 2007. She earned Cum Laude honors at graduation with a bachelor's degree in organizational communications.

Burrows began her coaching career at her alma mater in 2009. She then became an assistant coach at Oberlin in 2010 before joining the staff at Case Western during the summer of 2012.
