Evan Drew is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Navy women's golf team in 2025-26, joining Kylee Baker’s program in July 2024.
In Drew’s first season, the Midshipmen captured the 2025 Patriot League Championship, winning the tournament by a 38-stroke margin and punching a ticket to the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional. The season included three first-place and five top-5 finishes for the Mids, saw six different program records broken and featured two individual medals.
Individually in 2024-25, Drew helped mentor Emma Tang into the Patriot League Golfer of the Year and Megan Kirkpatrick into the league's Rookie-of-the-Year honors, the first Navy golfers in program history to win those respective awards. His two-year stint at RPI as the head men's golf coach and assistant women's basketball coach saw Drew finish as a finalist for the 2023 Dave Williams Award as the top men's golf coach in NCAA Division III, as he led the Engineers to a program-best eighth-place at the 2023 NCAA Division III Championship. While at RPI, Drew also led the men’s golf program to the 2023 Liberty League Championship and was named the 2023 Liberty League Coach of the Year. Mentoring both the 2022 and 2023 Liberty League Golfers of the Year, he coached a GCAA Second Team All-American (2022-23) and Third Team All-American (2021-22), four GCAA All-Region selections and had one player qualify as an individual for the 2022 NCAA Division III Championship.
Prior to RPI, Drew had stints as an assistant men's soccer coach at the College of Saint Rose in 2021, as an assistant women's soccer coach at Hartwick in 2018-19 and as an assistant coach with both the men's basketball and women's soccer programs at SUNY Adirondack in 2017-18.
