Munro joined the women’s soccer staff as an assistant in January of 2025 following the completion of her playing career at UMBC.
A three-year captain for the Retrievers, Munro was selected to the All-America East Second Team in 2024 after leading the squad in scoring with six goals and 14 points over 17 games as a forward. For her career as a forward for UMBC, she appeared in 53 games and tallied 24 points with 11 goals and two assists.
Munro holds two degrees from UMBC as she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a minor in health, wellness and aging in 2023 before later earning a masters in entrepreneurship, innovation and leader in December of 2024.
Away from the playing field, she has served as an assistant coach for the Maryland Rush 13G program, as well as provided coaching as part of the Navy Women’s Soccer camps during the summers of 2022, 2023 and 2024. Munro also has obtained her Grassroots Soccer Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation.
