Did not play organized lacrosse in high school, but lettered four times in track and field, three in field hockey and three in basketball ... led field hockey team to two Connecticut high school championships ... was a two-time All-State and All-Conference selection in field hockey ... was also a team captain and academic All-American and was a 2005 All-Conference selection in track and field ... was a member of National Honor Society, President of Girls[apos] State and the Appalachian Service Project ... full name is Lindsay Marie Pirek ... born Oct. 8, 1986, in Hartford, Conn. ... daughter of Ronald and Linda Pirek ... majoring in quantitative economics. # GO NAVY #
