Navy’s starter at 133 pounds, he recorded a 26-9 overall record and a 9-2 dual record … Made appearances in the Clarion Open, Bearcat Open, Navy Classic and Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite … Earned first collegiate victory over Mason Prinkey of Clarion by a 4-1 decision … Went 4-0 at the Clarion Open to take first place … Finished 2-1 at the Navy Classic to earn second place … Defeated InterMat No. 24 nationally-ranked Matt Ramos of Purdue twice (7-2 decision, 7-0 decision) and No. 33 Jake Gilva of Minnesota (Fall 3:53) to place fifth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite … Earned dual victories over Maryland, Hofstra, Ohio, Cleveland State, Cornell, Binghamton, Bucknell, Clarion and Army … Defeated No. 29 Dom LaJoie of Cornell with a fall in 50 seconds, and No. 30 Anthony Sobotker of Binghamton by a 4-1 decision during the regular season … Dominated Dominic Carone of Army by a 13-2 major decision to help the Mids beat Army, 22-9 … Went 3-1 at the EIWA Championship to place second and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championship … One of three Midshipmen to qualify for the NCAA Championship … Went 1-2 at NCAA Championship, beating No. 21 Haiden Drury of Utah Valley by a 5-4 decision … Finished the season ranked as InterMat’s No. 18-ranked wrestler in his weight class.

A 2021 graduate of Belleville Township High School West in Belleville, Ill. … Three-time sectional finalist and two-time champion … Three-time state qualifier who was the IHSA State Wrestling Championship runner-up his sophomore year (39-3) and champion as a junior (49-0) … Due to COVID, the IHSA made the decision to shorten the 2020-21 season to eight weeks and would not feature a postseason championship.
