2020-21 // Junior Year
• Navy wrestled a COVID-shortened season that did not include tournaments outside of the EIWA and NCAA Championships
• Did not see any varsity action

2019-20 // Sophomore Year
• Opened the year as Navy’s starter at 149 pounds, he produced a 12-8 record, including a 1-3 dual mark
• Competed in four tournaments - Navy Classic, Southern Scuffle, Shorty Hitchcock Memorial, Edinboro Open
• Put together a 4-1 record, dropping an 8-3 decision in the finals to place second at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial
• After dropping his opener at the Edinboro Open, he won five in a row to finish in the fifth/sixth-place position
• Defeated California Baptist’s AJ Raya by a 3-1 decision to earn his first collegiate victory, as well as his first career dual win

2018-19 // Freshman Year
• Wrestled at both the Navy Classic and the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial

High School
• 2017 graduate of Hibbing High School in Hibbing, Minn.
• Attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2017-18 academic year
• Six-year wrestling letter winner, who was a three-time Minnesota state place winner and two-time finalist
• Took fifth at the Fargo National Championship in 2014
• Served as team captain his junior and senior years
• Named to the Academic All-State (Minn.) Team his senior year

Personal
• Son of Leslie and Michele Fuenffinger
• His service assignment is Surface Warfare
• Majoring in Robotics and Control Engineering
• Brother, Mike, wrestled at Augsburg where he was the 2014 and ‘15 125-pound NCAA Div. III National Champion
• Four-time NCAA qualifier, Mike Fuenffinger did not place his freshman year and placed seventh as a sophomore to garner All-America recognition
