2019-20 // Junior Year
• Opened the year as Navy’s starter at 157 pounds, he posted a 5-9 record, including a 2-7 mark in dual action
• Made his first career dual appearance in the Mids’ opener where he dropped a 15-8 decision to Fresno State’s Jacob Wright
• Earned his first career dual victory by way of a 6-3 decision over California Baptist’s Zach Rowe
• Also earned a 9-3 decision over Lucas Cordio in the Maryland dual

2018-19 // Sophomore Year
• Saw action in four tournaments where he posted a combined 9-5 record
• Went 4-0 at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial, including a 16-4 major decision over Old Dominion’s Cole Smith in the finals
• Placed third at the Edinboro Open behind a 3-1 mark.

2017-18 // Freshman Year
• His lone competition of the season was at the Ursinus Fall Brawl where he produced a 4-0 record
• Pinned (1:19) McDaniel’s John Tyler Watkins to earn his first collegiate victory
• Scored a 3-1 win in sudden victory over classmate Jack Stanton-Taddeo to win the Fall Brawl

High School
• 2016 graduate of Cascia Hall Preparatory School in Tulsa, Okla.
• Four-year wrestling letter winner, he was a two-time Oklahoma State Champion (2015-16) and state runner-up his freshman year
• Member of the Cascia Hall team that placed second at the state championship in 2016

• Son of Chance and Kali Skidgel
• Service assignment is Marine Corps Pilot
• Majoring in Quantitative Economics
• Attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2016-17 academic year
• Younger brother, Tanner, is also a senior at the Naval Academy and a member of the wrestling team
• Father, Chance, wrestled at Central Oklahoma
• Grandfather, Wes Skidgel, played football at Oklahoma
