• Elvin in 2017-18 (So.):  Was not a member of the team.

• 2016-17 (Fr.):  Amassed a 16-10 record, including a 4-2 dual mark, as the Mids’ starter at 157 pounds his freshman season ... earned his first collegiate victory by way of a 16-0 tech fall over Johns Hopkins’ Alex McLaughlin in the Blue-Gold Duals ... turned in a 4-2 record at the Navy Classic to place fourth ... also competed at the Harold Nichols Open, the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and the Southern Scuffle ... missed the last month and a half of the season due to injury.

• High School: A 2015 graduate of Central Dauphin High School in Harrisburg, Pa., Elvin attended the Naval Academy Prep School during the 2015-16 academic year ... a four-year wrestling letterwinner who placed at the Pennsylvania State Championship three times - sixth in 2013, fourth in 2014 and third in 2015 ... was the runner-up at the 2015 Beast of the East and placed in 2014 at the same tournament ... served as the team captain his junior and senior years ... member of the National Honor Society.

• Personal: Son of Craig and Patti Elvin ... cousin, Alex Gibson, is a 2016 graduate of the Naval Academy ... majoring in Ocean Engineering.
