Shari Podd serves as an Associate Director of Equipment Operations. Podd works primarily with the men's basketball, and the swimming & diving programs. She was promoted to the associate position from assistant in September 2025. She previously worked with the women's basketball, squash and men's tennis teams at Navy.

Prior to Navy, Podd was an Assistant Equipment Manager Intern at Ohio University for one year.

While an undergraduate at Baldwin Wallace University, Mangas worked as an Equipment Manager Intern and as an Athletic Facility Worker. Podd was also the top income and ticket seller for the Cleveland Indians' Collegiate Sales Competition at Baldwin Wallace.  

Podd graduated from Baldwin Wallace with a bachelor's degree in sport management and minors in business management and recreation in 2015. She was a four-year member of the women's basketball team at Baldwin Wallace and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.  She also completed a master’s degree in sport administration from Arkansas State in 2022.

Podd lives in Annapolis with husband Chet and twin daughters, Skylar and Adley.
