Navy to Compete in Pair of Regattas

Annapolis, Md. -- Navy intercollegiate sailing will compete in two regattas this weekend, the War Memorial Regatta, hosted by Hobart/William Smith Colleges and the Women's Victorian Urn, hosted by Harvard University.
At the War Memorial Regatta, senior Justin Smith and freshman Slava Haywas will be sailing in the A division and sophomore John Keith and senior Robert Anderson will sail in the B division with freshman Gary Grimes and sophomore John Appelbaum attending as alternates. Hobart/William Smith will host this MAISA District Championship Regatta in 420 dinghies. Teams from across the Mid-Atlantic and the New England regions will compete in this regatta.
At the Women's Victorian Urn, senior Alexa Bestoso and junior Monica Meese will be sailing in the A division and freshmen Katie Whitman and Lindsey Magee will sail in the B division with freshman Catherine Long attending as an alternate. Harvard University will host this women's intersectional in Lark dinghies as teams from across the country will compete.
