Navy Set for Coast Guard

Annapolis, Md. -- Navy rifle (6-0) resumes the 2003-04 season this Saturday as Coast Guard travels to Annapolis for a meet in Bancroft Rifle Range at 8 a.m.
?It's good to get back into competition,? noted head coach Bill Kelley. ?The team is working really hard, and they're shooting really well. I'm very encouraged by the progress of our shooters. The plebes are doing a great job and the upperclassmen are very intense right now.?
During the fall campaign, the Mids broke two Academy records as the squad shot a 6204 aggregate score on Oct. 18 against Pen State and Duquesne. Junior Matt Albright (Shelton, Conn./Christian Heritage School) also set a new school record with an 1183 total score at the University of the Sciences on Nov. 22.
