Tyler Wee Highlights Trio of CRCA All-Americans

Tyler Wee was named CRCA Rookie of the Year, while also joining Isabella Baldwin and Parker Haydin as All-Americans.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy rifle standouts Isabella Baldwin, Parker Haydin, and Tyler Wee were selected as Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) All-Americans, the national organization announced recently. The trio combined for nine All-American accolades with Wee being named the CRCA Rookie of the Year.
 
Wee becomes the first Navy shooter to be tabbed CRCA Rookie of the Year.
 
Wee was a first-team honoree in both smallbore and air rifle, while claiming second team in aggregate. Haydin was recognized as a First Team All-American in smallbore, while claiming second-team distinction in air rifle and aggregate. Baldwin was a first-team honoree in air rifle with second-team credits in smallbore, and third-team honors in aggregate.
 
With their three All-American honors each, Baldwin is now a nine-time All-American, while Haydin is a five-time honoree and Wee is a three-time recipient.
 
The trio were atop the leaderboard for the Midshipmen throughout the season. Baldwin, Haydin, and Wee finished first, second, or third among Navy shooters in nearly every match. Wee concluded his freshman year atop all three scoring categories. Haydin finished second in smallbore and aggregate, while coming in third in air rifle. Baldwin was second in air rifle and third in both smallbore and aggregate.
 
Wee led the team with a 590.1 average in smallbore and a 598.6 in air rifle for a team-best average of 1188.7 in aggregate. The rookie finished the year with three perfect 600s in air rifle.
 
Haydin was second in smallbore and aggregate scoring with averages of 589.2 and 1185.2, respectively. The senior was third in air rifle with a total of 596.1.
 
Baldwin was second in air rifle with a total of 596.8, which included her first ever perfect 600. She ranked third on the team in smallbore (587.1) and aggregate (1183.8).
 
Earlier in the year, the Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) announced its postseason awards and Baldwin, Haydin, and Wee combined for nine All-Conference honors for shooting, while Baldwin was selected as Navy's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Additionally, Wee earned Rookie of the Year honors for the conference.
