Navy Rifle Takes Third at NCAA Championships

Murray, Ky. -- Navy rifle finished in third place overall at the NCAA Championships, finishing second in air rifle. Head coach Bill Kelley was named co-Coach of the Year, along with Army's Ron Wigger, after leading the Mids to an 11-1 season and their highest NCAA finish since 1999 (when Navy took second place).

?We were in sixth or seventh place after the first half of the day,? noted Kelley after the competition, ?but they came out this afternoon and shot really well. Matt Albright and Chris Schneider picked up the pace and they all did a great job today.?
