ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy intercollegiate coed sailing team is competing for the Cornelius Shields Trophy at the ICSA Sloop Nationals being held at Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, Calif. on November 19-21. The team qualified for the regatta at the MAISA Qualifiers held here at Navy on October 23-24. The regatta will be sailed in Governor's Cup 21's in the ocean adjacent to Long Beach all day on Friday through Sunday. John Keith will be skippering with Jameson Adler, John Appelbaum and Gary Grimes crewing.

This will be the last regatta of the season before winter break. The final regatta of the fall season will be the Rose Bowl Regatta on January 8-9 in Long Beach, Calif.
