SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Devin Gibson scored 19 points and Travis Gabbidon added 16 as Texas-San Antonio beat Navy 77-67 Saturday night.

Texas-San Antonio (2-1) used a 21-5 run in the first half to build a 28-14 lead. Navy (1-3) got no closer than seven points after that.

Navy's Clif Colbert had 14 points and Greg Sprink chipped in with 13. The Roadrunners led 36-25 at halftime, but the Midshipmen pulled within 48-41 on Colbert's layup with 10:50 left.

But Gabbidon scored five points and Gibson added four in a 9-3 run that put Texas-San Antonio up 57-46 with 8:10 remaining. The Roadrunners held a double-digit advantage most of the rest of the game.

The game was played at the Alamodome in preparation for the Final Four in March.
