ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Backup quarterback Kriss Proctor ran 20 times for a career-high 201 yards and a touchdown, Alexander Teich rushed for two scores and Navy outlasted Central Michigan 38-37 on Saturday.

The Chippewas (3-8) got within a point on Ryan Radcliff's 7-yard touchdown pass to Cody Wilson on fourth-and-2 with :04 left. But Radcliff's two-point conversion pass sailed over a doubled-teamed Kito Poblah in the back of the end zone.

The Midshipmen (7-3) played without starting quarterback Ricky Dobbs, who sat out because of a concussion sustained last week at East Carolina. Proctor, making his third career start, engineered Navy's fifth win in six games and handed Central Michigan its seventh loss in eight games.

Down 24-21 early in the third quarter, Proctor scored on a 4-yard option keeper to put Navy ahead for good.
