WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Navy gymnast Dylan Parrott (Jr./Rockwell, N.C.) won the floor exercise and placed second on the high bar during the individual event finals at the ECAC Championship in Kaplan Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Parrott produced a stellar 14.9-point routine on the floor exercise to finish 0.3-point ahead of second-place performer Scott Bloomfield from Temple. His 14.9-point showing on the high bar was just 0.25-point behind champion Andrew Stover's mark from Illinois-Chicago.
Andrew Faulk (So./San Antonio, Texas), who earned a medal in the all-around competition last night, claimed three more medals on Saturday. He finished second on the vault with a score of 15.4 points, third on the high bar with a 14.25-point effort and fifth on the parallel bars by virtue of his 13.55-point score from the judges.
Navy will await to hear which individuals will advance to the NCAA Qualifying Meet in West Point, N.Y., on April 15. The top-10 gymnasts in each event at that meet will partake in the NCAA Championship on April 16-17.
