ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Saturday's women's and men's lightweight rowing races against Georgetown have been cancelled due to a heavy current and unsafe racing conditions on the Potomac River. Both Navy crews were to face the Hoyas on Saturday morning, but the current river conditions and anticipated poor weather on Saturday, has forced both to races to be called off.

Neither the women's or men's lightweight races have been rescheduled.

Saturday's race was scheduled to be a final tune-up for the Navy women's rowing team prior to the Patriot League Championships, which will take place April 24th in Worcester, Mass.

The men's lightweight rowing team will be back in action on Saturday, April 23rd at Harvard.
