CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Navy's Wil Mayo (Sr., The Woodlands, Texas) was announced Monday as the recipient of this week's Patriot League Men's Diver-of-the-Week award. It is Mayo's second laurel from the league office in as many weeks.

Mayo earned this week's award based upon his performance during Navy's meet against six-time defending Atlantic Coast Conference-champion Virginia. He placed fourth on both boards against the Cavaliers with scores of 271.90 on the one meter and 287.40 on the three meter. Mayo was the highest-placing Mid on the one meter and finished two spots in back of teammate Ben Freedman (Sr., Kennewick, Wash.) on the three meter.

Navy will resume its season on Nov. 9 when the Mids travel to Lewisburg, Pa., to face Bucknell, American and Lafayette.
