ANNAPOLIS, Md. -
The Navy gymnastics team will travel to West Point, N.Y., to meet Army in the annual Star Meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Mids have claimed the last four Stars, including a 327.1-319 win last season in Annapolis.
The Series
Navy has won the last four meetings in the series dating back to 2008. There was no Star Meet in 2010 as a snowstorm forced a cancellation of the event in Annapolis. Army leads the all-time series, 42-33-2. In all varsity sports competitions this season, Navy is 9-8-1 against Army. In Star Games, the Mids are 8-6-1 vs. the Black Knights.

Saturday's meet marks the third consecutive competition between Army and Navy. The teams first met at the West Point Open on Feb. 1 where Army posted a team score of 416.1 to take second place and Navy a 398.15 to take fifth. Last weekend at the All-Academy Championships, Army edged Navy, 410.6-407.3, for second place.
