CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Navy women's basketball player Sarah Reilly (Fr., Cincinnati, Ohio) was named as the Patriot League Lids Team Sports Rookie (freshman) of the Week on Monday following her efforts in games against Mary Washington and Penn. Reilly averaged 10.5 points and 11.0 rebounds a game and connected on 46.7 percent of her shots from the floor against the Eagles and Quakers.

She began the week by recording a double-double of 16 points -- featuring 5-7 shooting from the field -- and 12 boards against Mary Washington. Eight of her 12 caroms came on the offensive end, a tally that places her in a tie for sixth at Navy for the most offensive boards snared in a single game. Two days later, Reilly totaled 10 rebounds, five points, two assists, two steals and one block against Penn.

Reilly's honor makes her the first Mid to be tabbed as the rookie (freshman) of the week in the league since the 2010-11 season.

Navy will continue its six-game homestand Tuesday night when the Mids play host to George Mason at 7 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
