ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy women's soccer team, as the number three seed, aims for its fourth Patriot League tournament title, beginning with Loyola on Tuesday (7 p.m.) in the Patriot League quarterfinals at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility in Annapolis, Maryland. Navy is 3-2 all-time as the tournament's number three seed.

Senior Jade Seabrook was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the week for her performance in Navy's 3-0 Star victory over Army on Friday, Oct. 31. Seabrook anchored Navy's backline to its fourth-straight shutout, holding Army's offense to five shots, one of which was on net. Individually, the senior defender blocked Army's first scoring opportunity inside the 18 to preserve the shutout early in the match.

Scouting Loyola
• The Greyhounds are riding a five-match unbeaten streak and are the number six seed heading into the match
• Loyola has not allowed a goal in the last 510 minutes and have defeated Boston University, 1-0, American, 2-0 and tied Lehigh, Navy and Lafayette, 0-0 over the five-game stretch.
• The Greyhounds are 0-8 when they allow one goal or more in 2014.
• Jessica Van Dyke leads Loyola on the offensive side, tallying nine points on four goals and one assist with one game-winning goal.
• Goalkeeper Colleen Folan has played all 1709:39 minutes in net for Loyola this season. Folan owns an 0.84 goals-against average and a .805 save percentage with a league best 10 shutouts.

All-Time Series
• Navy is 5-2-1 all-time against Loyola and 1-0-1 against the Greyhounds since entering the Patriot League last season.
• Navy is unbeaten in the last six matches, including this season's 0-0 tie in Baltimore.

Patriot Tournament History
• Navy is 14-13 all-time in the league tournament and have won three league titles (2003, '06, '07).
• As the three seed, the Mids are 3-2 and won the Patriot League title in 2007. Navy defeated American, 2-0 in the semifinals then went on to beat Bucknell, 1-0 in the title game.
• This will be the first meeting between Loyola and Navy in the postseason.

Shutdown D
• Down the stretch, Navy's defense has been key to its success of late, having not allowed a goal in the last 453:12 which spans four and half games.
• Over the past 10 matches, Navy's backline has held seven opponents to six shots or less
• Sophomore goalkeeper Dayton Wetherby has not allowed a goal in 380 minutes and has tallied nine saves over the four-match shutout streak.

Gaining Late-Season Momentum
• Following a tough 1-0 loss to Boston University on Sept. 20, Navy is unbeaten in its last ten matches. Over the ten-game stretch, the Mids are 8-0-2 and have outscored their opponents, 24-3.
• Navy has produced eight matches of two goals or more and seven shutouts during its run.
• The Mids have tallied 10 different players to find the back of the net over the stretch with Clare MacAdam scoring a team best five times during the ten-match unbeaten streak.

Balanced Attack
• Navy has a multitude of options on offense, recording four players with at least four goals and 10 players with at least two assists.
• Of the 23 field players that have seen the pitch, 12 Mids have recorded at least one goal and eight players have tallied the game-winning goal.



Putting In The Time
• Senior defender Jade Seabrook has been Navy's foundation on the backline since she was a freshman.
• After playing as an important reserve player during her freshman season and logging 774 minutes, Seabrook has seen very little time on the bench. The senior defender has recorded three consecutive seasons of 1600+ minutes on the field. Seabrook currently has tallied 1661 minutes this season.
• Since she was implemented as a starting center back, Seabrook has not been on the field for 622:01 out of a possible 5720:01 minutes. She has started 60 straight games since the beginning of her sophomore season.

Unselfish Play
• Senior defender Julie Schumacher has made a career of setting up her teammates in set pieces and this season has been no different.
• Schumacher has either led or was tied for the lead in assists in a season with nine in 2012, six in 2013 and now 11 in 2014.
• Schumacher currently leads the Patriot League in assists with 11 after 19 matches and is tied for 13th in the nation.
• For her career, Schumacher has recorded 27 assists in 72 games. Her two-assist match against Lehigh tied her for second all-time at Navy with Stephanie Parker (2001-04) and Nadia Sheikh (1999-02). Schumacher's season total of 11 ties her for the fourth most in program history with Stacy Finley (2003) and Ty Westinghouse (1994).

Freshman Firsts
• Navy freshman have been busy through 18 games, tallying 22 points on eight goals and six assists.
• Forward Clare MacAdam paces all Navy freshmen with five goals and one assist, including the game winner over No. 24 James Madison. The Mids are 4-0 when MacAdam records a goal.
• Forward Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan has recorded two assists, one against UConn and one against Stetson.
• Dzhandzhapanyan scored her first collegiate goal against Lafayette on Sept. 26.
• Midfielder Meghan Hegarty set up teammate Rachel Hunter for the go-ahead goal vs. Maryland for her first career assist on Sept. 8.
• Hegarty scored her first collegiate goal against American on Oct. 1, which was the eventual game winner.
• Defender Annie Morgan tallied an assist on Courtney Mason's goal versus Marist on Sept. 12.
