ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Navy intercollegiate sailing team competed in two regattas this past weekend. The Mids placed eighth out of 19 teams at the Truxtun Umsted Regatta and placed third out of 16 teams at the Central Fall Open.

At the Truxtun Umsted Regatta in Annapolis, Patrick Snow and Aaron Hull were ninth in A and Michael Popp, Michael Madigan, Megan Hough and Brittany Webb-Martin were 12th. Gary Prieto was 10th in C and Addison Hackstaff was fifth in D.

At the Central Fall Open in Chestertown, Md., Hamrick Morgan and Molly Hanson were fourth in A and Molly Robertson and Michelle Katz were third in B to lead the Mids to a third-place finish.

Navy will next compete at the MAISA Fall Women's Regatta and at the MAISA Match Race Championship next weekend.
