ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Sophomore Gary Prieto represented the Navy intercollegiate sailing program by competing in the Laser Performance ICSA Men's Singlehanded National Championships this past weekend in Norfolk, Virginia.

The very deep fleet saw a wide range of conditions and the racing was tight throughout the weekend. In the end, Prieto wound up 11th out of the 18 men who had qualified to compete. Yale's Malcolm Lamphere won the individual title.

Navy will close its fall competition schedule with the Coed and Women's Atlantic Coast Championship next weekend.
