HANOVER, N.H. - Eighth-ranked Dartmouth (2-2) dealt the 14th-ranked Navy squash team (13-2) just its second loss of the season as the Big Green posted a 7-2 victory over the Mids Sunday afternoon at Berry Squash Courts in Hanover, N.H.

Both of Navy's wins came in the top half of the ladder as sophomore Senen Ubina (Greenwich, Conn.) swept Dartmouth senior Nick Harrington at the #2 spot, 11-8, 11-5, 11-0, while freshman Owen Davis (Rydal, Pa.) picked up a 3-1 victory over second-year Big Green standout Sam Epley. For Ubina, it marked the second consecutive year he has defeated a Dartmouth foe, defeating Alvin Heumann a year ago in three games.

Having closed out the first half of the season, Davis and his rookie classmate Michael Kacergis (Malvern, Pa.) stand atop the wins leader board with each posting a 14-1 record. Team captain Randy Beck (Sr / Lafayette Hill, Pa), Jack Herold (Jr / Chicago, Ill.) and Dylan Sweeney (So / New York, N.Y.), meanwhile, each have 12 wins apiece going into the winter break.

The Mids are slated to return to the court Jan. 7 when they travel to Canada to battle Western Ontario, as well as the Ontario All-Stars in an exhibition.
