ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Undefeated over its last nine contests, the Navy women's soccer team will continue the back stretch of its Patriot League schedule on Wednesday evening with a home bout with Lafayette. Locked into a spot for the 2017 Patriot League tournament, the Mids (12-3-1, 5-0-1 PL) will welcome a Leopards (3-7-2, 1-4-1 PL) team that has won each of the past two matchups between the programs. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility on Wednesday.

Navy vs. Lafayette
• Wednesday will be the 27th meeting (21-4-1) between the two schools in a series that began in Navy's first year of varsity existence in 1993 ... In that Sept. 26, 1993 matchup, Lafayette took the contest by a 7-1 decision ... Over the next 17 meetings between the Mids and Leopards, Navy went 17-0, including a postseason victory in 2001 ... After tying in 2010 and losing in the regular season in 2011, Navy then rattled off four straight wins (2011-PL Semis, 2012, 2013 and 2014) before Lafayette posted consecutive 1-0 shutout victories in 2015 and 2016 ... All-time, Navy has outscored Lafayette, 65-20 and hold a 10-1-1 mark in games in Annapolis.
• Last season in Annapolis, the Leopards defeated the Mids, 1-0 with a golden goal 33 seconds into the first overtime period ... Navy controlled the majority of the action throughout the game and that showed in most statistical categories as the host Mids outshot the Leopards, 18-8 and had three more corner kicks at 4-1 ... While Navy took 18 shots only two were on target to test Lafayette's goalkeepers ... The Leopards' Melissa Lynskey netted the walk-off game-winner as she controlled a loose ball on a failed clear and lofted a shot from over 30 yards out at 90:33.
• Amongst returning players, Natalie Dzhandzhapanyan has the only goal scored over the past three years, due to back-to-back shutouts by the Leopards ... Dzhandzhapanyan netted a goal for Navy in the team's 4-0 victory in 2014 ... Megan Rogers is the active leader in minutes played against Lafayette with 211 minutes out of 271 since 2014; Meghan Hegarty is right behind with 209 minutes.

Parking / Shuttle Information
Fans are reminded that the general public does not have access to drive their vehicles on to the U.S. Naval Academy. Fans may park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for $5 and take a shuttle that will run every 10 minutes starting at 6:00 PM, one hour prior to the game and will continue running until one hour after the game is completed. Fans 18 and over need a government-issued photo ID. Enter Gate 5 off Taylor Ave. to park at the stadium. Dogs are not permitted inside the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
