ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The 14th-ranked Navy squash team (6-1) shut out all four of its opponents at its annual Veterans Weekend Round Robin in Annapolis over the weekend. The Mids earned a 9-0 win over Fordham on Friday, scored 9-0 wins over Boston University and Johns Hopkins on Saturday and closed out action with a 9-0 win against Georgetown on Sunday morning.

Navy won 39 of the 40 matches by 3-0 counts, while winning one by forfeit. Eight of Navy's nine players on the ladder completed the four-game sweep, while Sam McCartney (Sr. / Chicago, Ill.) and Alex Patricolo (Jr. / Southampton, N.Y.) split action over the weekend.

Freshman Jack Lentz (Philadelphia, Pa.) and senior Jack Herold (Chicago, Ill.), Navy's No. 2 and 3 players on the ladder, respectively, stand 7-0 on the year, while Michael Kacergis (So. / Malvern, Pa.), Senen Ubina (Jr. / Greenwich, Conn.), Jamie Kjorlien (Jr. / Greenwich, Conn.), Dylan Sweeney (Jr. / New York, N.Y.), Owen Davis (So. / Rydal, Pa.) and Greg Hyer (Sr. / Tenafly, N.J.) are 6-1.

The Midshipmen return to action when they play host to their second round robin in as many weeks next Friday through Sunday. Navy opens with MIT (7:00 pm) on Friday, Stanford (9:30 am) and Hobart (5:00 pm) on Saturday and Denison (9:30 am) and Penn (1:00 pm) on Sunday.
