About Navy
Navy closes a three-game homestand with a Sunday matinee against Bryant. The Mids enter the game following a 77-58 victory over Coppin State Wednesday night that raised their record to 1-2 on the year.
About Bryant
Bryant travels to Annapolis after opening the home portion of its season with a 71-63 victory over Saint Peter's Wednesday night. That win came on the heels of road losses to Rhode Island (97-63) and Seattle (82-59).
The Bulldogs posted an overall record of 3-28 last season and placed 10th in the Northeast Conference with a 2-16 record. Bryant was predicted to place eighth in the NEC this season.
Navy and Bryant have faced each other on a fairly regular basis since the first game in the series was played during the 2012-13 season. The teams also met the following year before taking the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons off. Sunday's game marks the third year in a row in which the teams will meet.
Navy has won both prior games in the series that have been played in Annapolis as well as last year's game that was contested in Rhode Island. The Mids hold a 3-1 edge in the young series.

Five Starting Notes
* This is the third year in a row in which the Mids and the Bulldogs are competing against one another. Navy has won the last two meetings, with the Mids most recently winning a 79-61 decision last year. Navy also defeated Bryant two years ago in Alumni Hall.
* Both Navy and Bryant tallied their first win of the 2018-19 season Wednesday night. The Mids posted a 77-58 win over Coppin State and the Bulldogs notched a 71-63 victory over Saint Peter's in their home opener.
* Bryant's Dren Dedushaj is the fourth player Navy will have faced in four games who stands at least 7-0 tall. The Mids faced two seven-footers against ODU and one against Coppin State.
* Navy had three players score at least 10 points in a game over the course of its first two games of the year, but four Mids reached double figures Wednesday against Coppin State.
* Sunday's game closes Navy's longest homestand of the season (three games). The Mids will play back-to-back home games four times the rest of the year.
