Malcolm Perry Named American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week

Perry rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 20 attempts as Navy improved to 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in the AAC

Senior quarterback Malcolm Perry has been named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Navy's 45-17 win over Tulsa on Saturday night.

Perry rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on 20 attempts as Navy improved to 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in the AAC. Perry averaged 10.9 yards per carry and scored on touchdown runs of 29, 35 and three yards as Navy scored 28 consecutive first-half points.

It was Perry's fourth career game with 200 rushing yards, tying for the second-most in school history, while he also passed Kyle Eckel and Eddie Meyers and now stands fourth on Navy's all-time career rushing list with 2,946 yards.
