ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy offshore sailing team had three boats in the 20-team field at the J-105 Chesapeake Bay Championship in Annapolis this weekend.

The five-race event was cut to just three races after competition on Sunday was canceled due to excess wind and rain in the morning.

Over the three races on Saturday, the Midshipmen's top boat was the Avenger, which finished 10th overall with
Paul Jervis leading the crew.
Nicholas Hogan and his crew on Allegiance finished 16th overall and Dreadnought, skippered by
Nicholas Walden, placed 18th in the field.

Navy caps off its fall slate this coming weekend at the Kennedy Cup in Annapolis on Saturday and Sunday.
