Scouting Tulsa
•    Tulsa enters Saturday's game with a 2-3 record and coming off a heartbreaking 43-37 triple overtime loss at #24 SMU. The Golden Hurricane entered the fourth quarter up 30-9, but were outscored 21-0 by SMU in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Tulsa went on to lose in the third overtime on a spectacular 25-yard touchdown catch by James Proche. The Hurricane missed a 43-yard field goal in the second overtime that would have given them the win.
•    Tulsa owns victories over San Jose State (34-16) and Wyoming (24-21) and has lost to Michigan State (28-7), Oklahoma State (40-21) and SMU. Navy will be the first team Tulsa has played that wasn't undefeated when Tulsa played them.

•    Last year, the Mids finished with 37 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks.
•    This season, Navy has already recorded 30 tackles for a loss and eight sacks.
•    The Navy defense has recorded at least seven tackles for a loss in every game this year (seven vs. Holy Cross and East Carolina, eight vs. Memphis and Air Force). Dating back to 2000, Navy has not had a season when it recorded seven or more tackles for loss more than four times.
