ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy's offshore sailing team had seven crews compete in the Annapolis Yacht Club Fall Series on Saturday and Sunday.

In the ORC 2 class,
Jonathan Hitt led his crew on Tenacious to a third-place finish in the 11-boat class. On Defiance,
Hayden Kuzemchak finished just behind Tenacious in fourth in the same class.
Tom Hawkins guided his crew on Integrity to a fifth-place finish as the Midshipmen had three boats finish consecutively in the ORC 2 class. Navy's Gallant rounded out the class for the Midshipmen with a ninth-place finish as
Don Poirier skippered the crew.

The Midshipmen also had a trio of boats compete in the J/105 class and each team finished consecutively. Navy's top finisher in the class was Allegiance skippered by
Nicholas Hogan, placing 12th out of 17 entrants in the class.
Nicholas Walden skippered Dreadnought to a 13th-place finish and
Paul Jervis led his crew on Avenger to a 14th-place finish.

Next up, Navy heads to Larchmont, N.Y., for the Storm Trysail Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta.
