• Navy and Brown are meeting for the second year in a row. The Bears posted a 67-50 victory over the Mids last season in Alumni Hall in what was the first meeting in the series in 12 seasons.
• Brown holds a 5-4 edge in the series. The teams have split the four previous games played in Providence, with Saturday's game being the first played at Brown in 14 years.
• Three of Brown's four wins have come by a total of 11 points. This includes two-point wins over Bryant and Quinnipiac.
• Navy ended its two-game losing streak with a 72-61 win over Cornell Tuesday night.

Greg Summers registered the first double-double of his career with 12 points and 12 caroms.
• Navy outrebounded Cornell, 36-29, which lowered its rebounding margin on the year to 9.7 a game. The Mids have won the rebounding contest in five of its six games this season.
• Navy enters Saturday having played 219 games against Ivy League schools. Outside of Patriot League foes, that is the most games the Mids have played against any conference. Ranking second on the list is the Atlantic Coast Conference at 177 games.
