CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Navy track and field team claimed three of the six Patriot League M-F Athletic Indoor Track & Field weekly awards when the League office announced honors on Tuesday afternoon.

Regine Tugade (Dededo, Guam) was selected as the M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Track Athlete of the Week, senior teammate Stefano Pineda (Hockessin, Del.) earned the Male Field Athlete of the Week, with freshman teammate Charles Crispi (Staten Island, N.Y.) earning his second consecutive Male Rookie of the Week honors.
Tugade broke the Navy school record in the 200m dash with a time of 24.83 at the Navy Select. The ECAC qualifier was 0.04 seconds faster than the previous record set back in 2007. Tugade now has three of Navy's top 10 performances in the 200m dash. In addition, she finished third in the 60m dash with a time of 7.77, just 0.07 second shy of Navy's top 10 in the event.
Pineda posted an IC4A qualifying mark in the pole vault with a season-best jump of 5.05m (16-06.75). The jump tied him for first place with teammate Crispi, but was awarded second based on judge's decision.

Navy returns to action next weekend as the Midshipmen host the Patriot League Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 16-17 at Wesley A. Brown Field House in Annapolis, Md.
