Five Starting Notes
• Saturday's game serves as the Army-Navy Star Game, which is part of the Star Series presented by USAA.
• Navy won the 2018 Star Game at West Point and Army won the 2017 Star Game in Annapolis.
• The teams are meeting for the 87th consecutive year and for the 96th year in the last 100 seasons. The teams first played Feb. 21, 1920, and they have faced one another annually since that inaugural meeting except for four seasons from 1928-29 through 1931-32.
• Navy holds an overall advantage in the series of 79-51, which includes a 43-22 edge for the Mids in games played on The Yard. The teams have split the Patriot League regular season series in each of the last three and five of the last six seasons.
• Army won the first meeting of the 2018-19 season, a 72-61 decision in West Point. The Black Knights scored 12 of the game's final 15 points to earn the victory. Navy's
Evan Wieck posted the first double-double in his career during the game with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Army's Matt Wilson also recorded a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds) on the afternoon.
