ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Navy baseball has postponed its midweek home matchup against Delaware State on Wednesday with impending rain and snow expected in Annapolis on Wednesday.
 
The National Weather Service issued Winter Storm Warning for Annapolis on Wednesday from 4 a.m. until 7 p.m. Forecasted weather includes a rain-snow mixture and four to six inches of snow are forecasted to accumulate.
 
No makeup date has yet been announced for the game.
 
Navy is slated to hit the road this weekend to take on rival service academy Air Force at the Freedom Classic in Kinston, N.C., Friday-Sunday. The Midshipmen are now slated to open their home schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 27 against Coppin State at 2 p.m. from Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium.
