Five Starting Notes
• Navy and American will be meeting for the fourth time in Patriot League Tournament history and the fifth time overall in conference tournament play. The teams last met in the tournament nine years ago.
• Navy and American tied for the biggest jump this year from pre-season poll placement to tournament seed. The Mids were predicted to finish eighth but garnered the No. 5 seed and the Eagles are the No. 4 seed have being tabbed to place seventh.
• In head-to-head games this year, Navy scored 140 points against American and the Eagles scored 138 points against the Mids.
• Only six players on the Navy roster have played in a Patriot League Tournament game.
Hasan Abdullah has accounted for three of the team's four starts in post-season play.
George Kiernan leads the Mids with both 41 points and 19 rebounds in league tournament play.
• The game will be the 699th for
