ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 14 Navy women's lacrosse team (12-3, 6-1 Patriot League) hosts Lafayette (5-10, 1-6 PL) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Opening draw for the game, which is sponsored by First Command, is slated for 1:00 p.m. The game will be Senior Day and the Midshipmen will honor its senior class prior to the game.

The game between Navy and Lafayette will mark the 13th meeting between the two programs. The Midshipmen lead the all-time series, 12-0 (1.000).
The Midshipmen are 6-0 all-time against the Leopards in Annapolis.
Last season, the Mids posted a 19-9 victory against the Leopards in Easton, Pa. With the win, the Midshipmen secured the No. 2 overall seed and a first-round bye in the 2018 Patriot League Tournament.
The last time the two teams met in Annapolis, Navy picked up a 24-10 victory over Lafayette.
Navy has held Lafayette to single digit goals in 10 of the 12 meetings.
Scouting the Midshipmen

Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) leads the team with 92 points, scoring team-best 50 goals and boasting a team-high 42 assists.
Kayla Harris (Annapolis, Md.) is second with 40 points (31g 9a) ahead of
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.) who has 38 points (23g 15a).
Andie O'Sullivan (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) and
Nicole Victory (Issaquah, Wash.) round out Navy's 30-point scorers. O'Sullivan has 35 points (29g 6a), while Victory sits at 34 points (15g 19a).
Reagan Roelofs (Apple Valley, Minn.) leads the team with 91 total draws, while Heyward is second with 56.
Marie Valenti (Bechtelsville, Pa.) and Heyward pace the team in caused turnovers with 23 and 21, respectively. In addition, Valenti paces the team with 41 ground balls.
Defensively, goalie
Gab Harchelroad (Pittsburgh, Pa.) has logged just under 725 of the 900 minutes between the pipes for the Midshipmen. This season, she is 11-3, including a pair of victories over ranked opponents (No. 19 Towson, No. 23 Georgetown). The senior has made 77 stops and is second on the team with 34 ground balls, while adding nine caused turnovers.
Scouting the Opponent
Lafayette enters the weekend with a 5-10 (.333) overall record, including a 1-6 (.143) mark in Patriot League play.
The Leopards are led by Jane Kirby and Emma Novick who have each tallied 40-plus points on the season. Kirby leads the team with 42 goals and six assists for a team-high 48 points, while Novick is second with 42 points on 37 goals and five helpers. Anna Stein paces the team with 20 assists to go along with 17 points to rank third on the team with 37 points.
At goal, Lacy Quinn has seen the most action between the pipes. She has played and started in all 15 games with 155 saves and 187 goals allowed. Quinn is 5-10 on the season.

The No. 11 Navy women's lacrosse team picked up a 19-9 victory over Lafayette on the road at Fisher Stadium. With the win, the Midshipmen secured the No. 2 overall seed and a first-round bye in the 2018 Patriot League Tournament.
Offensively, Navy scored 19 goals on 39 shots, including 27 on goal. Over the last three games, the Midshipmen are averaging 21 goals per game, while surrendering just seven per game. The Mids were led by six players who combined to score all 19 goals.
Jenna Collins (Clarksville, Md.) led the way with six goals, while
Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.) set a new career-high with 10 points, scoring five goals and a team-high five assists.
Julia Collins (Clarksville, Md.) and
Molly O'Sullivan (Centreville, Va.) each had hat tricks on the day, scoring three goals apiece.

Navy picked up 18 ground balls, compared to 11 by Lafayette, while also holding a 16-13 advantage in draw controls.
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.) paced the team with six draw controls, while Jenna and
Julia Collins added five and three draws, respectively.
Marie Valenti (Bechtelsville, Pa.) led the team with four ground balls in the game, while
Blake Smith (Sykesville, Md.) picked up three ground balls.
Ingrid Boyum (Herndon, Va.) earned her 12th victory of the season, working 54:47 between the pipes. The senior allowed eight goals, while posting four saves before giving way to
Gab Harchelroad (Pittsburgh, Pa.), who closed the final 5:13 with a goal and a save.

The No. 14 Navy women's lacrosse team used a total team effort on Wednesday night to post a 20-10 victory over American. Thirty-two different Midshipmen played in the game, including 13 that registered points on the night.
Thirteen players registered points in the game, including 12 different players found the back of the net.
Andie O'Sullivan (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) and
Caitlin Blanche (Crofton, Md.) led the team with three goals each, while
Kelly Larkin (Alexandria, Va.),
Annalise Heyward (Charlotte, N.C.),
Kayla Harris (Annapolis, Md.), and
Moriah Snyder (Bel Air, Md.) chipped in two goals apiece.
Nicole Victory (Issaquah, Wash.),

Navy won the draw control battle, securing 19 draws compared to 12 by American. Roelofs led the way with eight draws on the night, while Harris added four. Roelofs now has 91 draws on the season and is nine DCs shy of registering the Mids' eighth 100-plus draw control effort in a single season.
On the night, Navy picked up 19 ground balls with 13 different players tallying at least one GB in the game.
Anne Richter (Hinsdale, Ill.) led the team with three ground balls.
Five different goalies saw time between the pipes on the night for the Midshipmen. Senior
Gab Harchelroad (Pittsburgh, Pa.) earned the start, working the first half. She picked up her 11th victory of the season surrendering three goals with three saves to her credit in 30 minutes of action.
Abbi Young (Alamo, Calif.) started the second half. She worked just over 10 minutes with a team-high five saves with one goal allowed.
Annie Maloney (Ellicott City, Md.) worked just over 11 minutes with two goals allowed and a save.
Maddy Bell (Winter Park, Fla.) and
Lindsey Ellison (Arlington, Va.) combined for the final 8:30. Bell allowed three goals with two saves, while Ellison gave up one goal.
The Navy defense caused 10 of American's 16 turnovers on the night.
Marie Valenti (Bechtelsville, Pa.) led the team with three caused turnovers, while Lecker added a pair.
Navy took control of the game early, jumping out to an 10-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the game, causing the Mids to pull most of their starters. The Midshipmen had six different players score in the first 15 minutes of the game. O'Sullivan had all three of her goals in the first 15 minutes of action, while Larkin and Harris each notched two goals in the opening run.
The Midshipmen extended its advantage to 11-0 before the Eagles were able to find the back of the net. American rattled off three consecutive goals to trim the margin to 11-3, but Navy closed out the half with four goals to take a 15-3 advantage into halftime.
In the second half, American outscored Navy, 7-5, but the Midshipmen were able to come away with the 10-goal victory. Following an American goal, Navy rattled off back-to-back goals to go ahead 17-4. The Eagles scored five consecutive goals to cut the margin to seven, 17-10, but Navy responded with the final three goals of the game to provide the final margin of victory, 20-10.
