CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior captain
Morgan Frazier (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) was named to Academic All-Patriot League Team for the second-straight season, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon.Â
Â
This season, Frazier was a Second Team All-Patriot League honoree after finishing tied for ninth at the Patriot League Championship last month. She finished the league tournament with a score of 14-over par 230 during the three rounds. She fired a 6-over par 78 and 7-over par 79 during the first two rounds on day one. During the final round of the championship, Frazier carded a 1-over par 73 to move into the top 10 and earn league accolades.
Â
For the season, Frazier averaged 75.7 in 26 rounds at 10 events, which was second-best for the Midshipmen. She is second all-time in the program record books with a 77.6 scoring average in her career. Her five top-10 finishes were the most for Navy during the 2018-19 season and she included a pair of top-five finishes. Frazier's five top-10 finishes were one shy of her school record six she posted last year.
Â
Frazier has a 3.68 cumulative grade-point average and is an operations research major. She has also been named to the Naval Academy's Superintendent's List and Commandant's List four times each.Â
Â
In her career, Frazier has been named a WGCA Scholar All-American twice and is a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipient. She also was the 2018 Patriot League Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned All-Patriot League First Team honors a season ago.
Â
Joining Frazier on the team is Boston University's Annie Sritragul, Bucknell's Katie Childers, Lehigh's Reagan Jahn and Richmond's Lizzie Reedy. Jahn was named the Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year.Â
