ANNAPOLIS, Md.--Navy head football coach
Ken Niumatalolo released the names of the 2019 football recruiting class on Thursday evening as 57 prospects representing 22 states went through induction ceremonies and began plebe summer.

Texas was the most productive state for the Mids with eight prospects, while Maryland and Georgia were next with six each. Ohio (five), Alabama (four), Florida (four), Tennessee (four) and California (four) were also very productive states for the Mids. Other states represented include New York (two), Virginia (two), Kentucky (one), New Jersey (one), Michigan (one), Wisconsin (one), Arkansas (one), Colorado (one), Missouri (one), Mississippi (one), Washington (one), Arizona (one), Hawai'i (one), North Carolina (one) and Oklahoma (one).

Navy opens the 2019 campaign on Saturday, August 31 at home against Holy Cross. Navy also plays host to East Carolina (Sept. 14), Air Force (Oct. 5), USF (Oct. 19), Tulane (Oct. 26) and SMU (Nov. 23) at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. All home games will kick at 3:30 PM

The annual Army-Navy Game presented by USAA will be played at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, Dec. 14. Game time is 3:00 PM.
