Single game tickets for the remainder of the Navy basketball season will go on sale in mid-September.

The Navy men's team, which tied for fifth place in the 2019 Patriot League regular season and advanced to the semifinal round of the league tournament for the second time in three years, begins its 113th season with a Nov. 5 game at George Mason.  The Mids then open their Alumni Hall slate with the Nov. 8 Veterans Classic.  That will be the first of seven home games for Navy during both the non-league season and the remainder of the 2019 calendar year.

Navy's non-league schedule is highlighted by a Dec. 29 game at 2019 NCAA Champion Virginia.  The game will mark the second time in Navy history in which the Mids will face a defending national champion (Kentucky, 1958).  The Cavaliers, who cut down the nets after posting a 35-3 record, are one of four opponents on the Navy schedule that won at least 20 games last year.  The remaining three teams are Liberty (Nov. 19, Lynchburg, Va.), 29-7; Lipscomb (Nov. 22, Annapolis), 29-8; and Brown (Nov. 30, Providence, R.I.), 20-12.

The Mids will open their 29th Patriot League campaign with a Jan. 2 game at home against Lehigh.  This year's Army-Navy Star Game will be played Feb. 22 in West Point, N.Y.

Each round of the Patriot League Tournament will once again be contested at the home of the higher-seeded team playing in each individual game.  The tournament will be held March 3, first round; March 5, quarterfinals; March 8, semifinals; and March 11, final.

The Navy women's team also kicks off its 2019-20 campaign on Nov. 5 when the Midshipmen play host to Stevenson in a 6 p.m. matchup.  Following that home opener, Navy will be away from the friendly confines of Alumni Hall with weekend road trips to Clemson and North Carolina (Nov. 9 and Nov. 11) and Vermont and Maine (Nov. 22 and Nov. 24).  The Mids will play four of their final six non-conference games at home with Annapolis tilts slated against Air Force (Nov. 27), Kennesaw State-Navy Classic (Nov. 30), La Salle / UMBC-Navy Classic (Dec. 1) and George Mason (Dec. 19).

Patriot League play for Navy opens Jan. 2 at Lehigh before the Mids come home for back-to-back games versus Holy Cross (Jan. 4) and Bucknell (Jan. 8).  In total, the Mids will play five home league contests during the month of January with dates against Lehigh (Jan. 15), Boston University (Jan. 22) and Army (Jan. 25) dotting the schedule.  That Army-Navy contest is part of a home basketball doubleheader at Alumni Hall.  The 2020 Army-Navy Women's Basketball Star will be on the line Feb. 22 at West Point.

Following an 18-game Patriot League regular season schedule, the Mids will turn their focus to postseason play with the 2020 Patriot League Tournament. The four-round tournament begins on March 7 with first round games before moving onto quarterfinal action on March 9. The semifinals and finals will be contested on March 12 and 15, respectively.  All games will be hosted by the higher seeded team.

Television schedules for the Navy basketball season will be announced at a later date.
