Two Home Matches Highlight Busy Week Ahead for Navy Squash

With just a handful of weeks remaining in the regular season, the 18th-ranked Navy squash team (7-6) will play three matches in a four-day span this week, including two at home. The Mids will play host to #16 Brown (1-3) on Tuesday at 4:30 pm and #9 George Washington (5-4) on Wednesday at 5:30 pm. Navy will close out the week with a road trip to Massachusetts where it will battle #20 Williams (7-3) at 5:00 pm on Friday. Fans can follow the action for all three matches via Club Locker on NavySports.com or csasquash.com(.)

Despite a series that dates back to 1989, this will be Brown's first trip to Annapolis. Navy leads the series, 9-8, and has won four in a row against the Bears. The two teams last met on Jan. 31, 2016 with Navy earning a 5-4 win.

Navy and George Washington will meet for the 30th time in a series that began in 1995. Navy owns a 16-2 record against the Colonials in matches played in Annapolis. GW won last year's match, 7-2, in the nation's capital.

One of the oldest series in college squash is Navy-Williams. The two first met on Dec. 13, 1952 with the Mids scoring the 6-3 victory in Amherst, Mass. Navy leads the series, 36-22, with the majority of the matches (36 of 58) being player in Williamstown. The Mids have won 24 of those 36 matches played on Williams' home court.
