Wenqing Tang (Fr / Villanova, Pa. / 27-2 season / 51-6 career), Hudson Poirier (So / Wellesley, Mass. / 9-0 / 19-2), Christian Graziano (Fr / Greenwich, Conn. / 18-6 / 18-6), Johan Hodgson (Fr / Riverside, Conn. / 13-4 / 13-4), Michael Tierney Jr. (So / Berwyn, Pa. / 17-8 / 33-18) and Turner Wolf (Fr / Bronxville, N.Y. / 9-2 / 9-2) will represent the Navy squash program at the 2026 U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championship set to be held Saturday and Sunday at Cynwyd Club in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.

In addition to Navy's three squads, Haverford (Kai Thomas Schinaman / Dean Ibrahim), Penn (Sungchun Yuen / Mark Ma), Princeton (Hollis Robertson / Robert Hellmann and Yuvraj Wadhwani / Aly Ibrahim), Cornell (Sebastian Dobron / Syan Singh) and Drexel (Tavneet Singh Mundra / Shomari Wiltshire) will also field teams.

While Navy has sent at least one team to compete in each of the 13 previously-played U.S. Intercollegiate Doubles Championships, this will be the first appearance for three of Navy's six players. Tang, Tierney Jr. and Poirier played in last year's championship, while Graziano, Hodgson and Turner will make their debut.

A Navy team has played in the finals in 10 of the last 13 championships (2020-21 was not held due to the pandemic). The Mids won six (2013 - Andrew McGuinness & Hunter Beck) of the nine doubles titles between 2013 and 2019, including five in a row - 2015 - Bill Kacergis & Senen Ubina / 2016 - Randy Beck & Jack Herold / 2017 Jack Herold & Senen Ubina / 2018 Michael Kacergis & Senen Ubina / 2019 Jack Lentz & Michael Kacergis). Navy's Alexander Orr and Ramsay Killinger won the title a year ago behind a 4-0 record. It marked the seventh doubles championship won by the Mids and their first since 2019.

This year marks the fifth time the doubles championship has been held in the spring, as it had previously been held in the fall prior to the start of the regular season.
