Tipping Off
• Navy recorded its third win in as many games Wednesday night when the Mids defeated Boston U., 60-58 in overtime.  Army also has won each of its last three games.  The Black Knights most recently posted a 94-74 win at Lafayette.

• The only other time in the last 60 years in which both teams entered the game on a winning streak of at least three games was in 1986-87 when the Mids were on an eight-game winning streak and the Black Knights had won three games in a row.  This is the 10th time in series history in which this has occurred.

• The teams have split the season series in each of the last four years.  The home team won each game last season, which marked the first time that had happened since the 2009-10 campaign.  From the 2010-11 through the 2018-19 seasons, the road team posted a 13-4 record.

• When Navy plays at Army later this year, the game will be played 100 years and 1 day after the inaugural meeting of the teams during the 1919-20 season.

• Navy has played three overtime games this season.  This is after the Mids had played two overtime games over the previous three years.  Navy has won multiple overtime games in a season for the first time since the 2008-09 season.
