Tipping Off
• It has been anything but home sweet home for the teams in the Navy-Boston U. series since the Terriers joined the Patriot League. The Mids have won each of the last five games that have been played in Boston and the Terriers are undefeated in the six games that have been played in Annapolis.
• Navy posted a 60-58 overtime victory over Boston when the teams met Jan. 22. Seven of Navy's nine points in the extra frame came at the foul line.
•
Greg Summers led all players in scoring with 19 points. Max Mahoney and Walter Whyte each scored 14 points for BU.
• Boston won five games in a row after the setback to the Mids –– with all five wins coming by double figures –– but that streak of success ended Monday night with a 79-63 loss to Colgate.
• Navy saw its three-game skid come to an end Wednesday with a 60-59 victory over Bucknell. The win came despite the Mids falling behind 13-0 at the start of the game. Additionally, the victory gave the Mids their first season sweep of the Bison in a decade.
• The game is presented by Annapolis Area Buffalo Wild Wings
